Photographic Contest

Seek stories of goodness around you through your lens and send us two photographs on this topic. Have a look around; ask your parents, grandparents and friends and maybe you will be surprised how much inspiration you find.

Your work will be judged by an expert jury composed of: Bohdan Holomíček, Karel Cudlín, Nguyen Phuong Thao and Jan Šibík.

30 selected works from the literary, photographic and artistic contests will advance to the final round and their authors will be rewarded with a valuable gift!

The dates for the photographic contest are 11 November until 16 March 2009.

Prizes for winners and finalists:

• 1st Place: CZK 40,000, a journey aboard the Winton Train from Prague to London (dates: 1 September 2009 – 4 September 2009), a media internship, a material prize worth ca. CZK 20,000
• 2nd Place: CZK 25,000, a journey aboard the Winton Train from Prague to London (dates: 1 September 2009 – 4 September 2009), a material prize worth ca. CZK 12,000
• 3rd Place: CZK 15,000, a journey aboard the Winton Train from Prague to London (dates: 1 September 2009 – 4 September 2009), a material prize worth ca. CZK 7,000
• 4th and 5th Place: CZK 5,000, a material prize worth ca. CZK 2,000
• 6th – 30th Place: CZK 3,000, a material prize worth ca. CZK 1,000
